The Friends of the Council Grounds State Park recently announced first, second and third place winners of its annual Council Grounds Photo Contest.
First place winners will receive a 2021 Wisconsin State Park and Trail season pass, whole 2nd Place winners will receive a $15 Park merchandise gift certificate:

“We would like to thank everyone that took the time to vote this year,” comments Friends of the Council Grounds member Laurie Svetlik.
“It was done completely online with great success. Entries chosen as first, second and third place finalists were from across the state, including Merrill, Wausau, Mosinee, Neenah, Watertown, Antigo and Kronenwetter. Its good to have been able to follow through with our annual contest despite the difficulties managing it during Covid pandemic. It was good to have something fun to distract people with.”
