MHS freshman Truman Shull locked down a solid season in his first year as a member of the varsity East- Merrill United Hockey Team, finishing the season with an 87% save percentage from his goalie position.
Shull has been playing hockey for six-years and earned the starting goalie position in his first-year of varsity eligibility last season.
In addition, Truman has played baseball for several years as a left-fielder and is an avid skier.
Aside from sports, he enjoys outdoor activities such as snowmobiling, ATV’ing, hunting and fishing.
Son of Beth and John Shull of Pine River, Truman currently maintains a 3.8 GPA. Although high school graduation is a few years away yet, Truman is considering a career in either engineering or stock trading.
