Jefferson Elementary third grader Lillian Jahnke has been named Student of the Week, for the week of Feb.24. Daughter of Amanda Grovenburg and Steve Jahnke of Merrill, Lillian was nominated by teacher Jodi Golisch.
“Lillian is kind, gentle and caring,” Golish explains.
“She’s always willing to help others when needed or asked. She is a hard worker and a positive role-model to others.”
As Lillian explains, her favorite subject in school is Art; “Because I like doing it. It is fun.”
Her favorite part of school is recess; “Because I can play with my friends.”
Someday. Lillian would like to become an artist; “Because I really like art. Next year I want to try to be a part of DELTA art to practice my art skills more.”
