Seeger named Student of the Week

Jefferson Elementary 5th grader Max Seeger has been named Student of the Week.
Son of Lindsay D’Amico & Timothy Seeger, Max was nominated by teacher Mrs. Buntrock.
“Max is a great example of our ROAR (Respect others, own your actions, act safely, Rise to the challenge) values,” Mrs. Buntrock explains.
“He is a caring, responsible student who looks for ways that he can help others. Most recently when a younger student was needing some extra attention, Max took it upon himself to read with this student. Now he and the boy read together daily. This is just one example of how Max is kind and rises to the challenge.”
As Max explains, his favorite subject in school is physical education; “Because I am an active kid. I play hockey and like to run and skate.”
Max’s favorite part of school is visiting Mr. Twomey; “Because he is fun and doing math with Mrs. Van because she makes math fun.”
Someday, Max would like to play professional hockey; “I want to be in the NHL,” Max explains.
“I want to be like the great ones, Wayne Gretzke or Connor McDave.”
