T.B. Scott Library Presents: “Winter Sky in the Northwoods”

T.B Scott Library will be hosting “Winter Sky in the Northwoods” on Friday, January 10, at 6 p.m.
Library staff is excited to announce the addition of two Orion Star Blast Telescopes to the “Library of Things” at the T.B. Scott Free Library. To celebrate this occasion and to provide our patrons with details about the telescopes, Associate Professor Sebastian Zamfir, Ph.D., Director of the Blocher Planetarium & Peisa Observatory, of the UW – Stevens Point – Physics and Astronomy Department will be the evening’s guest speaker to share all there is to know about the wonderful night sky of Winter in the Northwoods. Weather permitting, the evening’s presentation will conclude with attendees enjoying the opportunity to peer through the NEW telescopes into the Winter night sky.
