On the evening of Friday, Dec. 13, the AmericInn of Merrill donated toys for the Tree of Hope for the fourth straight year. Hotel Manager Ernie Stender (middle right) stated that the hotel managed to collect about five times the amount of gifts from last year. The hotel would also make a generous monitary donation.
In its fourth year collecting for the Tree of Hope, AmericInn hosted Santa Claus Friday night, taking donations during the event. AmericInn started their Tree of Hope collection around Thanksgiving this year, but anyone is welcome to drop off donations at the hotel throughout the year.
