Sawmill Brewing Company’s 3rd Annual Race to the Taps 5K and 2 mile family walk/run was held Saturday, September 7 from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. and involved over 350 participants. This year, the event raised $5,000 in support of three, deserving local non-profit organizations; Food For Kids, Lincoln County Respite Care and The MAC Home.
“We let each of the runners vote for where they would like the money go,” comments Sawmill co-owner Zach Kubichek.
“Based on the amount of votes, we distributed the proceeds. Food For Kids received $2,300, Lincoln County Respite Care received $1,400 and the MAC Home received $1,300.”
The 4th Annual Race to the Taps will be held on September 12th, 2020 at Sawmill Brewing Company.
