Dominic Laufenberg had one of the best finishes of his cross country career on Friday, Sept. 5 at the Marathon meet at Nine Mile Forrest. Laufenberg posted a time of 18:06, which was good enough to land him at fourth place for the meet.
Son of Jill and Wright Laufenberg of Merrill, Dominic is a senior who has been on the Merrill varsity cross country
team since his freshman year. Laufenberg enjoys running, as well as listening and playing music on his free time and is a member of the Merrill track team and the Vocal Jays. Following graduation in the spring, Laufenberg plans to attend Ripon College, where he will study Music Education.
