As reported by the Merrill Parks and Recreation Department, due to road construction on Main Street, the traditional Merrill Labor Day Parade Route will be adjusted slightly.
The parade will begin at the same location (Genesee St) and head east on Hwy 64, continue east on the same route as past years. The only change is that instead of turning onto Mill Street south to Main Street, the parade will continue straight at that location and end on Court Street. We thank you for your understanding and ask that you share this information with those who traditionally view the parade on Main Street between Mill Street and Court Street.
If you are in the parade, we ask that once you get to Court Street, please head north to disperse onto any of the side streets to limit congestion. Parade entrants can proceed through the roundabout if you are in a vehicle containing legal passengers, per MPD.
