The Prairie River Middle School Musician of the Month in May is Amber Winter!
Amber is an eighth grade student and plays the clarinet. Amber is the daughter of Christopher and Kristie Winter.
Amber has made great progress throughout the year and is a student others can count on to learn her individual parts and help others. She is able to set high goals for herself and then work to meet those goals. Amber, as a musician, shows great understanding and has the ability, while producing an exemplary tone, to also demonstrate proper technique on her clarinet. In addition to performing a solo at District Solo and Ensemble, Amber was also a participant in the Wisconsin Valley Middle Level Honors Band, as well as a performer with her church bell choir. Congratulations and best of luck to the entire 8th grade band as you move to high school; you will be missed at PRMS. We cannot wait to see and hear all of you in future music events.
