All county snowmobile trails to open Saturday morning

Lincoln County snowmobile trails which have remained closed this season, will open as of 8 a.m. Saturday, February 9.
As part of a press release issued Friday afternoon, the Lincoln County Forestry, Land and Parks Department did state there will be one exception.

“Lincoln County’s funded snowmobile trails (County Administrated Trails) in Zone 4 and Zone 2 with one exception, will open as of 8:00 AM Saturday February 9, 2019. Trail F between Intersection #57 (near Hilly Road) and Intersection #48 (north of Joe Snow) road will remain closed. Winter ATV trails in Zone 2 and 4 will remain closed until 8:00 AM Saturday Feb 16, 2019. Trails are in early season condition and may be rough and icy in some areas.
All of Zone 1 and Zone 3 funded snowmobile and winter ATV trails are open. All trails are closed to winter ATV use when the temperature is above 28 degrees F.
Be aware of Trail Closed signs, stay on marked trails only and respect private land.
Timber harvesting is occurring in various locations along the trails, be aware of Logging Ahead signs and use extreme caution in these areas
