Mini workshop to feature all things Google

A Google boot camp will be offered at T.B. Scott Free Library on Tuesday, Jan. 22, from 6–7:30 p.m.

This event begins a series of hands-on mini workshops related to Google and its GSuite applications. The evening will be an introduction for the new and novice Google user. We will cover setting up an account, overview the Gmail application and navigate through Google Drive. Time permitting, we may introduce some of the other productivity applications.

For parents of students in the Merrill School District, this will be an opportunity to become more familiar with the applications they are using in the classroom. While Google for Education is slightly different in what it offers, the mini workshops will still allow you to learn the basics to feel more comfortable with the Google environment.

This is a hands-on series. If you have a laptop, bring it with you. If you do not have a portable device like a laptop, the library has a few on hand for you to use while attending the session.

Join us in the Community Room at the Library for an evening of β€œAll things Google.” Enjoy treats and refreshments with coffee courtesy of First Street Coffee Station.
