The city’s annual fireworks display has been postponed until Thursday evening.
According to a post made via the city’s new social media page on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/cityofmerrillwi/ ; “The City of Merrill’s annual fireworks event has been postponed and will be held at the Merrill Area Recreation Center (MARC) at dusk on July 5.” The decision was reportedly made by the fireworks display contractor due to weather concerns.
