Five in custody following Tomahawk search warrant

Five people were taken into custody on Feb.2, as result of a search warrant executed by the Tomahawk Police Department.

According to a press release issued by the Tomahawk Police Department; on Friday, February 2nd, the Tomahawk Police Department concluded an investigation into the sale, distribution and possession of controlled substances, with the execution of a search warrant at a residence located in the 1400 block area of Wheeler Rd. in the city of Tomahawk.

As a result of this investigation five adults were taken into custody, Calvin J. Londo (24 yr. old), Emily F. Richards (20 yr. old), Lukas A. Ruffie (25 yr. old), Raeligh M. Whetzel (19 yr. old), and Bryce R. Rick (21 yr. old). All were transported to the Lincoln County Jail on felony charges of; Maintaining a Drug Dwelling, Possession with Intent to Deliver and Possession of Tetrahydrocannabinols.

In addition to the 1 ¼ pound of marijuana seized, officers also seized a very high potency, altered form of marijuana commonly referred to as “Wax”

Tomahawk Police Chief Al Elvins stated that this arrest was part of a cooperative effort by his department and the North Central Drug Enforcement Group. (NORDEG).
