A new fund raising event, ROTARY UNCORKED, is scheduled for 6-9 p.m. on Feb. 22 at the Eagles Club, Merrill.
UNCORKED is an evening of food, drink, music and prizes. Proceeds from the event will help fund the construction of the Optimist playground at Normal Park. The evening will begin with tastings of wine, craft beer and appetizers. Non-alcoholic wine and beer will also be available.
Winchester, featuring Andy Ament and Paul Waid, will provide music throughout the evening. A silent auction of signed sports memorabilia, wine, beer and other items will open at 8 p.m.
Pre-purchase tickets are $40 per person or $50 at the door. Reservations should be sent to Karen Karau, 1200 Lark St., Merrill.
