When you think of outstanding flute players you may think of names like Julius Baker, or Lori Bell. Here at Prairie River Middle School one name that comes to mind is December’s “Musician of the Month,” Caitlyn Geiss.
Caitlyn has already performed in numerous advanced music opportunities. She was in the Middle Level Honors band as a 7th grader and was again selected to participate this year as an 8th grader. Caitlyn also performed as a solo flautist for the Middle School choirs during their concerts.
Caitlyn is currently preparing a class A solo for the WSMA solo/ensemble festival and she is preparing to audition for the prestigious Wisconsin Middle Level Honors Band in February.
Congratulations Caitlyn, you have consistently worked hard, shown dedication, and responsibility. We appreciate and acknowledge everything you have contributed to the PRMS band program.
