THS junior Wyatt Wenninger enjoyed a breakout performance in the Hatchet Wrestlers’ season opener at the Oconto 6-team invitational on December 1; piling up a perfect 5-0 record on the day.

In addition to wrestling, Wenninger competes on the Hatchet varsity football team in the fall as a running back and back-up quarterback, as well as running sprints for the Hatchet Boys Track squad in the spring.

Aside from sports, Wyatt enjoys spending time in the outdoors hunting and fishing as well as time in the gym weight training.

Son of Mark and Chris Wenninger of Tomahawk, Wyatt currently maintains a 3.2 GPA.

Following graduation next spring, Wyatt plans to attend a 4-year university with hopes of becoming an Athletic Trainer.
