The Merrill Volleyball Team presented a check for $250 to Jane Bentz, Director of Ascension Good Samaritan Hospital Foundation and Cheryl Leininger, Director of Patient Services.
The donation will be used for oncology patients during their recovery from chemotherapy treatments. The money was a portion of funds raised during a Volley for the Cure night. Other monies had been previously donated to patients fighting cancer in the Merrill community.
