Westgate residents enjoy new pavilion

Early this fall, residents at the Westgate Apartment complex were treated to the use of a new pavilion, courtesy of the Merrill Area Housing Authority.

“The shelter was built early this fall by JJ Lee Construction  (John Lee & sons),” explains MAHA director Paul Russell. “The design was completed by Merrill Area Housing Authority staff and the interior knotty pine roof was donated by Peter Turner, Maintenance Manager at Jenny Tower.  The shelter fills a void for the multi-family tenants at Westgate to have a location to picnic and be outdoors when their children are playing outside.”
