Health Care Marketplace registration at library

If you’re interested in obtaining insurance through the Health Insurance Marketplace, or if you already have coverage through the Marketplace but would like help or advice before renewing, experts will be ready to help you on Thursday, Dec. 8, at T.B. Scott Free Library in Merrill.

Federally and state-certified Certified Application Counselors (CACs) from Bridge Community Health Clinic in Wausau will be in the Community Room at T.B. Scott Library from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Dec. 8 to answer questions about the Affordable Care Act and help consumers enroll in the Health Insurance Marketplace.

Those looking to enroll in an affordable health insurance plan should bring a copy of their income tax return, photo ID, Social Security card, and current pay stubs or income information for all members of the household.

Call the library at 715-536-7191 and ask for the Adult Department to reserve your personal consultation with them on Dec. 8. Reservations are strongly recommended for the event, though walk-ins will be served on a first-come first-served basis.

This is the only scheduled Health Insurance Marketplace event at T.B. Scott Library during the 2016-17 open enrollment period. If you can’t make the Dec. 8 enrollment event, visit healthcare.gov or call Bridge Clinic at 715-848-4884 to speak to a CAC with questions about the enrollment process. Upcoming education and enrollment opportunities can be found by calling United Way’s 2-1-1.

Bridge Community Health Clinic, open since 1995, is a Federally Qualified Health Center working to provide everyone with high quality, patient-directed services, offering primary care, dental, and mental health services.
