In the wake of an impressive construction schedule finishing in just under 90 days, Diane Goetsch of Kindhearted Home Care showcased the service’s brand new 5,000 square foot facility on Thursday afternoon, during a ribbon cutting ceremony with the Merrill Area Chamber of Commerce.
Nearly 50 community members were on hand for the event, as well as Mayor Bill Bialecki, Merrill Area Housing Authority Director Paul Russell and Senator Tom Tiffany (R-Hazelhurst).
The new facility is twice as large as Goetsch’s original facility on Scott Street and features a fitness center, Adult Day Care area and a commons area complete with a flat screen television and lounge chairs.

“It’s been an emotional journey,” Goetsch said Thursday.
“I cant say thank you enough or begin to show how appreciative I am for everyone that has helped make this new facility possible.”
Membership for the center is already near the century mark, but there is plenty of room for more.
Those interested in membership are asked to contact Kindhearted Home Care at (715)218-3772.
