Arrest made in Tomahawk robbery

Tomahawk Police Chief Al Elvins announced today that on Sunday at approximately midnight, members of the Tomahawk Police Department were dispatched to Crossroads Mobil Mart at 1227 E. Somo Ave. for a report of a robbery in which an undisclosed amount of money was taken.

Tomahawk Police and Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrived on scene and were informed that the store had been robbed. Officers were provided with a physical description of the suspect and a responding officer observed a vehicle parked on Comfort Drive. He then contacted the occupant of the vehicle and discovered that the occupant matched the description of the person that committed the robbery. The investigation revealed that a 26-year-old male, later identified as Nathan A. Fisher of Schofield, allegedly robbed the convenience store and his vehicle was impounded. Fisher was transported to the Lincoln County Jail on charges of robbery and parole/probation violation.

The Tomahawk Police Department was assisted by the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office. The case remains under investigation by Tomahawk police. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Tomahawk Police Department at 715-453-2121.
