Friday afternoon, officers responded to a reported disturbance on Liberty Street. Upon arrival, officers observed 22-year-old Alysa Nicholson in the street, engaged in a verbal altercation with a male party.
According to officer notes, the male party displayed several cuts, scrapes and bite marks on his hands, wrists and arms. In speaking with the male, he indicated Dolato had bitten and scratched him numerous times, struck him with her crutch, kicked him in the groin and struck him in the face. Dolato indicated the male had taken her phone and refused to return it, in explaining why she had gotten physical with the male.
As a result, Dolato was taken into custody on a charge of Domestic Violence Related Disorderly Conduct. Due to reportedly having knee surgery the day before, Dolato was transported to Ministry Good Samaritan Health Center for medical clearance before being transported to the Lincoln County Jail.
