Hatchet golf places middle of the pack

Hatchet Golf placed fourth out of eight teams this past Friday at Inshalla Country Club in Tomahawk with a combined team score of 347 strokes. The invite saw the Hatchets face off against Wisconsin Dells (332), Ashland (338), Marathon (338), Chequamagon (351), Hurley (388) and Prentice (432).

Mike and Michelle Lodholz both played well for the Hatchets. Mike had nine pars and Michelle had seven. Andrew Cook had the lone birdie of the day for the Hatchets.

The scorers for Tomahawk include Mike Lodholz with 42-38=80, Andy Tessmer with 46-44=90, Andrew Cook with 48-43=91, Tanner Bartz with 54-56=110 and Michelle Lodholz with 43-43=86.

Hatchet varsity golf will have a GNC invite this Tuesday, May 3 at 3 p.m. at Mosinee.
