Merrill Ace Hardware collected $756 through customer donations for the Merrill Community Food Pantry. The store also kicked in $220 worth of turkeys.
This is the sixth year of the food pantry connection at Ace.
“I want to thank all our customers for helping,” said store owner Tim Haight. “People have been very generous. It’s nice to be part of a community where people help and are willing to donate.”
Haight also thanked Dave’s County Market and their meat department manager, Bob White, for their assistance with the turkey donation.
