Heitz on All-Academic squad

Olivia Heitz, a senior on the Luther College woman’s tennis team, has been named to the 2015 Iowa Conference Fall All-Academic Team. This is the third time she has been so honored.
She posted a 5-2 record in both singles and doubles this year and was an Honorable Mention All-Conference selection. The team worked a 9-1 record in the fall portion of the season.
To qualify for all-academic team honors, a student-athlete must be in their sophomore, junior or senior year of eligibility, have maintained a grade point average of 3.50 or greater on a 4.0 scale, have attended the school for at least a year and be a member of the varsity team.
Heitz is a 2012 graduate of Merrill High School. She is majoring in Art and has a cumulative GPA of 3.54. She is the daughter of Joe and Jennifer Heitz of Merrill, Wis.
The Norse in Decorah, Iowa, compete in 10 men’s and nine women’s sports. The men have won 161 Iowa Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (IIAC) championships since 1922 and the women have won 68 team titles since 1982 to lead the IIAC.
