Mary Ann See, age 78, of Merrill, passed away unexpectedly Friday, October 23, 2015 at her home. She was born November 13, 1936 to the late Forrest and Ruth (Evans) Western in Greentop, MO. Mary Ann and Don See were united in marriage on April 9, 1955 in Mossville, IL. He preceded her in death December 25, 1996.
Mary Ann graduated from high school in Kirksville, Missouri. In her younger years she worked as a phlebotomist and more recently at JCPenney before she retired from Wal Mart where she managed the jewelry department. Mary Ann had a great love for animals. She loved to socialize with her neighbors and enjoyed spending time with the group of friends she made at Wal Mart. Mary Ann adored her grandchildren and was very proud of them. She loved to go shopping, especially for jewelry!
Survivors include her daughter: Teresa (Frank) Saal, Merrill; and two grandchildren: Sarah (Kyle) Hughes, Austin, TX, and Franklin Saal, Merrill. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Don See.
A time of visitation for Mary Ann will be from 9AM-12PM on October 29, 2015 at Waid Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Merrill Memorial Park. Waid Funeral Home of Merrill is assisting the family with arrangements. Online condolences may be made at www.waidfuneral.com.
