Beginning Monday, Oct. 19, motorists can expect to encounter single lane closures and a reduced speed limit of 55 MPH on:
•Southbound US 51 between US 8 and County S (near Tomahawk)
•Northbound and southbound US 51 between County Q and County K (near Merrill)
The lane closures are necessary for crews to complete pavement repairs.
All work is scheduled for completion by the end of the day, Thursday, Oct. 22. The schedule is subject to change based on favorable weather conditions and construction status.
Motorists are reminded to drive with caution in work zones and should be prepared to encounter slow moving vehicles.
