Fizz, Boom, Read! at T. B. Scott Free Library will begin on Friday, June 6, with the first of 24 special summer events. Rodeo queens and candidates will be in the youth services department, beginning at 10 a.m. to read and sign autographs. Rodeo Queens Read is co-sponsored by the Wisconsin River Pro Rodeo.

Once again, free Merrill-Go-Round rides will be available to attend youth and family events in June and July, sponsored by the Library Endowment Fund and Merrill Noon Optimists.

Just read (or listen) to books to be a part of a summer reading program: Fizz, Boom, Read! for age 3 through grade 5, Spark a Reaction for grades 6 through 12, and Literary Elements for adults.

For more details, call 715-536-7191, stop in at the library to pick up a flyer, or visit the website www.tbscottlibrary.org to plan how your family will participate in the free summer opportunities for enrichment, education and entertainment.

A summer themed playhouse, displays, guessing jars, and other do-it-yourself activities will be available during all open hours beginning June 6.
Summer hours now in effect are Mondays through Thursdays, 9:30 a.m.-8 p.m., Fridays, 9:30 a.m.-5 p.m., and Saturdays, 9:30 a.m.-1 p.m.
