It’s time to fill the middle school auditorium again with its maximum absorption of energy and toe-tapping vibrations, not to mention scintillating rhythms and enchanting melodies. That’s right, another band concert! On Thursday, March 6, at 7 p.m., the Sixth Grade, Seventh Grade, and Eighth Grade Bands from Prairie River Middle School will present their performance to help shake off those winter blahs. Can you guess our theme from the list of some of the bands’ selections: Rite of Passage, Anasazi, Armada, Legend of Alhambra, Colors of the Wind, Abandoned Treasure Hunt, Ghosts in the Graveyard, Pirates of the Caribbean, Tales of Sea and Sail, SpongeBob SquarePants, and A Tribute to Elvis! Well of course, it’s so obvious, right? How about Tales, Sails, Gales… and Elvis!?
This is a concert you don’t want to miss. So keep those driveways clear of snow and those car windows free from ice. Admission is free.
