Food business development webinar

The Lincoln County UW-Extension Office is offering a webinar series on Local Food Business Development sponsored by the Department of Agriculture, Trade, and Consumer Protection and UW-Extension.
The next webinar will be Friday, Dec. 6 at the Lincoln County Services Center. The webinar starts at 8:15 a.m. and will end at 2 pm. There is no cost to attend and lunch will be on your own. The Dec. 6 webinar topic will be Understanding the Legalities of Your Business. Rachel Armstrong of Farm Commons and Courtney Berner from the UW Center for Cooperatives will address the legal issues involved with starting and running your own food or farm business. Topics will range from the pros and cons of different business types to insurance needs and employment law.
