Church Mutual?s United Way support a record $91,511

Church Mutual Insurance Company’s support of the United Way this year reached an all-time high in employee contributions and the corporate match at $91,511. That exceeded by more than $20,000 the previous company high.
“Approximately 72 percent of our home office staff participated,” CEO Mike Ravn pointed out. “This marks the seventh consecutive year our 650-plus employees have attained that goal.”
Church Mutual’s United Way contributions over the past six years now total $419,861.
“Church Mutual Insurance Company employees soared to the top this year as they completed their campaign, surpassing the record and expectations for the second year in a row,” Merrill United Way Executive Director Dee Olsen said. “The generosity of the employees, complemented by the company’s generous match means United Way can continue to provide much needed funds for the programs supporting the 19 agencies we serve.
“We are so thankful to Church Mutual and the team that made this a great kickoff for the fall campaign.”
Founded on March 4, 1897, Church Mutual insures more than twice as many worship centers as its nearest competitor. The company also provides property and liability coverage to camps and conference centers, schools and senior living facilities.
