Judith A. Rowe, age 67, of Merrill, died Saturday, July 13, 2013, at her home under the care of her family and Aspirus Comfort Care and Hospice Services.
Judith was born Feb. 13, 1946, daughter of the late William and Gertrude (Mueller) Schwartz. She married Eugene Rowe on Dec. 2, 1967 at St. Stephens United Church of Christ, Merrill. He survives.
Judith was a retired employee of Merrill Millwork. She greatly enjoyed gardening, baking, and casino trips. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family. Judith was a member of St. Stephens United Church of Christ, Merrill.
She is survived by her husband Eugene Rowe, of Merrill; one daughter, Jane Rowe, of Merrill; one son, Timothy (Brenda) Rowe, of Merrill; one grandson, Brian Rowe, of Merrill; two brothers, Roger Schwartz, of King, and David Schwartz, of Watts, OK; and two half-brothers, Ervin Mueller, of St. Petersburg, FL, and Ray (Verna) Schwartz, of Merrill. Judith was preceded in death by her parents, William and Gertrude Schwartz; two half-brothers, William (Ruth) Schwartz and Richard (Betty) Schwartz; and one sister-in-law, Ruth Schwartz.
A memorial visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. on Monday, July 22, at St. Stephen’s United Church of Christ, Merrill. The Taylor-Stine Funeral Home, Merrill, is assisting the family with arrangements.
