On Thursday, April 25, representatives from Brickner’s Park City will partner with parents and teachers for a Drive for the Kids Fundraiser to help raise money in support of St. John School.
Between 4 and 7 p.m. at St. John, 1104 E. Third St., parents and guests will have the opportunity to earn a $10 contribution for the school from the Chrysler brand, by taking a test drive in the 2013 Chrysler Town & Country minivan – highest ranked in loyalty 11 years in a row. Everyone is invited to join the fun. Any licensed driver, age 18 or older, may drive and earn $10 on their behalf. There is no limit to the number of drives. Brickner’s Park City will provide 2013 model Chrysler brand vehicles along with dealership personnel volunteering their time to answer any questions.
“The Drive for the Kids fundraiser will be fun for the whole family so come out and show your support,” said Meredith Heldt. “We are pleased to be able to have this opportunity from the Chrysler brand and Brickner’s Park City to help push our fundraising goal over the top!”
At the conclusion of the program, the school with the highest number of test drives in each one of the five geographic regions (Northeast, Southeast, Midwest, Central, and West) will win an additional $5,000, for a total of $25,000 in additional funding from Chrysler through the Drive for the Kids program.
In 1993, Chrysler introduced Drive for the Kids and became the first automotive manufacturer to reach out in direct support of local schools. Since then, Chrysler dealers have worked with parents and educators across the nation to contribute nearly $5 million to schools located in communities where Chrysler and its dealers do business.
