Carol Ann Rosenau, 82, Merrill, died Sunday, April 8, 2012 at Aspirus Hospice House in Wausau.

She was born July 30, 1929 to the late William & Alvina (Hintz) Tesch in Gleason. On July 6, 1950 she married Emil Rosenau at Trinity Lutheran Church in Wausau. He survives.
Carol worked many years for Hurd Millwork. She had also worked for Wausau Piston and Hanson Glove Factory. Carol enjoyed fishing, gardening, sewing and going to the casino with her husband. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Merrill.
Survivors include her husband, Emil Rosenau, Merrill; daughters: Patience “Pati” (Jon) Zwicky, Ashland, WI, and Julie (Bruce) Weber, Merrill; son Anthony “Tony” Rosenau, Merrill; grandchildren: Joshua (Rachel) Zwicky, Iron River, WI, Travis (Errika) Zwicky, Merrill, Cameron Zwicky, Wausau, Christopher Weber, Greeley, CO, and Kaylyn Weber, Merrill; great-grandchildren: Evan Zwicky, Iron River, and Vallerie Zwicky, Merrill; brothers and sisters: Harold (Phyllis) Tesch, Florine (Vince) Ingrilli, Alvin “Buck” (Debbie) Tesch, Darlene (Flloyd) Albright. Neil “Butch” Sally Tesch, Gary (Sue) Tesch and Janet Tesch; sisters-in-law: Mary Tesch, Lorraine Tesch and Florence Tesch.She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters Hazel Raatz and Helen Tesch, and brothers Ed Tesch and Hilbert Tesch.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Thursday April 12, 2012 at Trinity Lutheran Church, Merrill. The Rev. Scott Gustafson will officiate. Visitation will be held from 4-8 PM Wednesday, April 11, 2012 at Waid Funeral Home and again from 10:00 am until the time of service at the church. Burial will follow at Snow Hill Cemetery.
