Ann I. Zimmerman, age 62, of Merrill, died Thursday, October 20, 2011, at Ministry Good Samaritan Health Center, Merrill.
Ann was born May 23, 1949, in Merrill, daughter of the late Harry and Irene (Goetsch) Zimmerman. She retired from Merrill Area Public Schools as the secretary to the High School principal. Ann was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Merrill. She was the coordinator of the Trinity Lutheran Church Food Pantry. Ann was a member of the International Lutheran Laymen’s League. She enjoyed flowers and gardening.
Survivors include her brother, Miles Zimmerman, of Merrill. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Irene Zimmerman.
The Funeral Service will be at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, October 26, 2011, at Trinity Lutheran Church, Merrill. The Rev. R. Brian Stolarczyk will officiate. Burial will take place in Maple Grove Cemetery, Town of Maine, Marathon County. Visitation will be from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Tuesday at the Taylor-Stine Funeral Home, Merrill, and after 9:30 A.M. Wednesday at the church.
The family suggests that memorials be directed to the Trinity Lutheran Church Food Pantry.
