Ann Bagley, 88, Merrill, died Sunday, January 23, 2011 at Pine Crest Nursing Home under the care of Aspirus Comfort Care and Hospice Services.
Ann was born January 12, 1923 in Merrill the daughter of Joseph and Adelaide (Cervi) Monti. She attended Merrill Schools. Ann married Harold Bagley May 24, 1941 in Merrill. He preceded her in death May 13, 1960. Ann worked for Merrill Manufacturing for over 25 years and as a custodian at Stokley U.S.A. for 15 years. She also worked at Weinbrenner Shoe Factory and for J.W. Perry seasonally. Ann enjoyed reading, crafts, knitting, crocheting, quilting, traveling, and volunteer work. She loved to spend time with her family, friends, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Survivors include: 2 daughters: Carol Jean (Irving) Bork, Gleason,
Betty Ann (Frank) Simon, Laurel, MT
Son: Eugene “Gene” Bagley, Merrill,
7 grandchildren: Thomas (Fiance Fay) Burgener, Merrill, Michelle (Rodney) Zimmerman, Rothschild, Jennifer (Brett) Dimmer, Port Washington, Alan (Sarah) Bork, Brown Deer, Jacqueline (Wade) Weiss, Mesa, AZ, Shelley (Rick) Storm and Pamela (Warren) Steffenhagen, all of Merrill.
12 great grandchildren: Alex, Mike and Nick Zimmerman, Jonathan Burgener, Matthew Dimmer, Abigail, Daniel and Benjamin Bork, Nathaniel and Ethan Hommerding, Broc Thums and Ciara Steffenhagen,
2 step-great grandchildren: Alexander and Jason Karau
Many nieces and nephews,
She was preceded in death by her, parents Joseph and Adelaide Monti, sisters, Angie Everts and Ellide Mox, brothers, James, Frank, Joe and Louis Monti.
Memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, March 13, 2011 at Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church. Pastor Beth Macha will officiate. Visitation will be 1pm until the time of service at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church, Pine Crest Nursing Home or to the charity of choice. Waid Funeral Home is assisting the family.
