A one vehicle crash in the Town of Scott resulted in injuries to a Merrill man, along with criminal charges.
Jeffrey K. Deboer was traveling on County Rd K at County Rd FF when his vehicle struck a power pole at 5:34 pm. The pole was shattered in the crash and fell into the roadway. Deboer was transported by Merrill EMS to Ministry Good Samaritan Health Center where he was treated and released for his injuries.
The deputy investigating the crash cited him for a second offense of operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated, and added a charge of disorderly conduct after Deboer caused problems at the hospital. Deboer was later released to a responsible party.
