Dorothy Ruth Gryskiewicz

Dorothy Ruth Gryskiewicz, 84, of Merrill, passed away Tuesday, September 14, 2010 at Ministry Good Samaritan Health Center. She was born November 30, 1925 in Merrill to the late Carl and Bertha (Raasch) Gretenhardt. She married Frank Gryskiewicz June 9, 1945 in Merrill. He survives.

Dorothy farmed with her husband, Frank, in the Town of Schley all her life. She was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Merrill.

Survivors include her husband, Frank Gryskiewicz, of Merrill; three sons: Peter (Diane) Gryskiewicz, The Villages, Florida, John Gryskiewicz, and David (Mary) Gryskiewicz, all of Merrill; one daughter: Mary Beth (Doug) Grisa, of Merrill; and eight grandchildren: Michele, Robin, Heather (Troy) Brownell, Amanda, Zachary, Joshua, Julie and Dan.
She was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters and three brothers.

Services will be 1:30 PM Friday, September 17, 2010 at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church. Father Joe Kleinheinz will officiate. Visitation will also be Friday, September 17, 2010 starting at 11:30 AM until the time of service at the church. Burial will follow at Merrill Memorial Park. The family requests memorials be given to T.B. Scott Library for large print books. Waid Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
