Other activities: Rapid Intervention Team training at NTC Burn Tower; victim/patient drags & carries training; round about hose load training & instruction; fire extinguisher demonstrations at Ministry Good Samaritan.

August 22

Fire runs: #110- 3:09 a.m., 500 W. Main St., electrical problem, outlet shorted out & flashed, utilized thermal imaging camera to look for other hot spots inside walls, none found. Advised owner to contact an electrician.

W to Ministry Good Samaritan, medical; #990- 9:27 a.m., 72 yo male from Ministry Good Samaritan to Aspirus Wausau Hospital, medical; #991- 7:23 p.m., 39 yo male to Aspirus Wausau Hospital, cardiac.

Other activities: medic monthly pediatric spinal cord injury training.

August 23

Other activities: search & rescue training – fire fighters practiced going into a smoke filled building, looking for victims & bringing them to safety; entrapped fire fighter training.

August 25

Fire runs: #111- 11:59 a.m., 2205 Willow Bend Dr., CO check, 0 ppm found, left CO detector on scene for occupant to monitor CO level.

Medic runs: #1002- 4:40 p.m., 37 yo female from Foster St. to Ministry Good Samaritan, medical; #1003- 7:54 p.m., 95 yo female from Pine Crest to Ministry Good Samaritan, trauma; #1004- 10:32 p.m., 95 yo female from Ministry Good Samaritan to Pine Crest, medical.

Other activities: search & rescue training at the NTC training facility. Fire fighters went into the building in full gear with heavy smoke simulation searching for victims and dealing with possible hazards they may encounter.

August 26

Other activities: search & rescue of trapped bodies in a house fire at NTC training building.
