Library access changes as construction moves on

The reconstruction of State Highway 64 (First Street) in front of T.B. Scott Free Library is nearing completion. The library has been open to the public throughout the construction this summer.

Beginning on Wednesday, Sept. 1, First Street directly in front of the library will again be the sole entryway into the library parking lot.

As of Sept. 1, temporary access to the library through Prairie River Middle School’s driveway will no longer be available, as the school year commences and school safety issues take priority.

In the event that weather delays prevent completion of the First Street reconstruction in front of the library before Sept. 1, temporary access from First Street to the library parking lot will be provided.

Please contact the library at 715-536-7191 with any questions.
