The Merrill Area Chamber of Commerce announced that their Retail Council’s “Driving Me Crazy” car raffle tickets are still available until Aug. 11. The Retail Council is raffling a 2009 Ford Focus SE sponsored by Merrill Breaman Ford.
The car raffle will take place on Aug. 11 at 5:30 p.m. during Merrill’s Annual Crazy Daze celebration at the downtown stage on East Main Street. Proceeds from the raffle will benefit the Merrill Food Pantry and the Merrill Chamber Retail Council. Tickets are $10 each or 3 for $25 and may be purchased at the Merrill Chamber of Commerce, 705 N. Center Ave. or at numerous downtown businesses. In addition to the Ford Focus a 2nd place drawing for $500 and a 3rd place drawing for $250 (both) in Chamber Bucks will also take place.
The car can be seen up close at the Chamber office or at the following locations: July 23-25 at Trantow’s Do-It Center, 101 S. Pine Ridge Ave.; July 30 ??ยข???????? Aug. 1 at Merrill Ace Hardware, 920 E. Main St.; and Aug. 6-8 at the MDA Softball Tournament at Ott’s Park, North Foster Street. The car will also be at the downtown stage all day during Crazy Daze “Driving Me Crazy” celebration on Aug. 11.
