Joyce Leota Lutz

Joyce L. Sasse, age 69 years, of Hwy. 22, Clintonville passed away Saturday, May 1, 2010 at New London Family Medical Center.

The former Joyce Leota Lutz was born February 27, 1941 in Shawano to Albert John and Emma Leota (Williams) Lutz. She graduated from Clintonville High School in 1959. Joyce was united in marriage on August 6, 1960 to Robert G. Sasse at St. Martin Lutheran Church, Clintonville. She worked at the Wisconsin Gas Co. in Clintonville as a Customer Service Representative from 1965 until retirement in 1997. From 1998 to present, Joyce was employed part-time at Beil-Didier Funeral Home as a Secretary. She is a former member of Christus Lutheran Church, where she was active as secretary, treasurer, and teaching Sunday School. Joyce is currently a member of St. Martin Lutheran Church, Clintonville. Her hobbies included ceramic painting, bowling, and collecting bears, Precious Moments, and other items. She especially enjoyed her dogs and cats, traveling up north, and spending time with family and friends.

Survivors include her husband, Bob, and two daughters; Tami (Edwin) Singler of Shiocton and Traci (Jaime) Gerth of Los Angeles, CA. There are three grandchildren; Eric, Ryan & Levi Singler. She is further survived by one brother, LeRoy (Anne) Lutz of Brown Deer, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Joyce is preceded in death by her parents.

A private family memorial service will be held on Friday, May 7th at the Beil-Didier Funeral Home, Clintonville.

Rev. Christian Burg will officiate. Inurnment will be on Saturday at Graceland Cemetery, Clintonville. The online guest book may be signed at www.beil-didier.com <http://www.beil-didier.com> . In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to St. Martin’s Lutheran Church, please go to stmlc.org, then select donations to make a gift in Joyce’s memory.
