He also served on the Corrections Committee, the Labor and Integrated Employment Committee, the Sporting Heritage Committee, the State Affairs Committee, and the Ways and Means Committee.
“Calvin came to you three years ago with a vision that there should be no reason why your kids, grandkids, and great-grandchildren can’t raise their families here at home in northern Wisconsin,” a release from Callahan’s campaign said.
According to his release, during the last Assembly session, Callahan said he was proud to a part-of, have co-authored, and have voted for a historic $4.4 billion cut for Wisconsin residents and tax-free retirement income; repealing the personal property tax; pushing for implementing a wolf population goal in preparation for future hunts; a ban on “gender-mulilating surgeries for minors; a ban on men competing in women’s sports; securing $90 million+ in childcare funding; and increases in shared revenue for local governments.
“Calvin will continue to demand fiscal responsibility and fight for our vision, cut taxes, stand up for our sporting heritage, fight for our fair share of funding, and fight for our Northwoods values,” the release said.
