Three in custody following search warrant in Town of King

The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office took three people into custody after executing a search warrant in the Town of King, east of Tomahawk on Wednesday.
According to a press release from the sheriff’s office, detectives learned that a 27-year old Schofield man, who was wanted by the Marathon County Sheriff’s Office, was staying at a cabin off of Sunny Point Road. The man was reported to be armed and considered dangerous by law enforcement officials in Marathon County.
Around 11 a.m. members of the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office’s Special Response Team was able to locate the man and take him into custody without incident. Deputies recovered a loaded firearm along with drugs and drug paraphernalia consistent with use of methamphetamine, heroin, marijuana and cocaine.
The Schofield man, Jonathon E. Anthoney, was booked on felony charges of being a felon in possession of a firearm, possession of drug paraphernalia, felony and misdemeanor bail jumping along with the Marathon County warrant, which charged him with possession of a firearm by a felon, five counts of disorderly conduct, criminal damage to property and two counts of bail jumping.

A 34 year old Tomahawk woman, Deanne E. Aufrere, was arrested on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia and a warrant for violating the terms of her probation.

A 20-year old Irma woman, Keli N., Sample, was arrested on charges of possession of cocaine, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of an illegally obtained controlled substance and felony bail jumping.
