Thursday evening, June 6, the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office released the name of a Milwaukee man, who was killed as a result of an ATV crash which occurred Wednesday, June 5, in the Town of Bradley.
According to information released by the Sheriff’s Office, a preliminary investigation at the crash scene revealed 60-year old Jeffrey G. Wineland was the lone operator of the ATV while traveling northbound on Park Lane, north of Thomas Road. The ATV failed to negotiate a curve in the roadway and rolled multiple times, causing the Wineland to be ejected.
Wineland was pronounced dead at the scene.
Wineland was not wearing a helmet; alcohol and speed appear to have been factors. The crash remains under investigation by the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office
