Donald R. Schwartzman, age 87, of Merrill, passed away on Tuesday, June 4, 2019 at his home. He was born in Milwaukee on October 28, 1931 to the late Raymond and Sophie (Johnson) Schwartzman. Donald married Gayle R. Hintze on December 26, 1991. She survives. Donald was in the National Guard for four years. He owned his own painting & decorating business for many years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing and gardening, as well as doing puzzles and archery. Donald was a member of the Lincoln County Sports Club and Trinity Lutheran Church in Merrill. He was a loving, thoughtful and humble man that will be sadly missed, but lovingly remembered.
Donald is survived by his loving wife: Gayle of Merrill, sons: Jay (Sally) of Florida and Bradley (Kris) of Pennsylvania, brother: Harry of Arizona, sister: Joan Beyer (Charles Reinhardt) of Merrill, sister-in-laws: Bonnie and Kathy Schwartzman, both of Merrill, 3 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, sons: Dean and Ronald, grandson: Jessie, brothers: Robert, Tom, James and Wally, sister: Marlene Woellner, brother-in-laws: Don Woellner and Robert Beyer and sister-in-laws: Laurice and Angel Schwartzman.
