On April 12 at approximately 12:16 p.m. the Lincoln County Sheriff's Office received a report of a two-vehicle crash that occurred on County Rd. J at Bradley Street. The crash involved a passenger car and a grader operated by an employee of the town of Russell.
The town of Russell Fire Department and First Responders, Merrill EMS and deputies from the sheriff's office responded to the scene.
The 64-year-old male grader operator had backed onto County Rd. J from Bradley Street and was struck by a westbound vehicle on County Rd. J. The 35-year-old female operator of the passenger car was transported to Ministry Good Samaritan Hospital in Merrill due to her injuries.
The crash remains under investigation by the sheriff's office.
