William (Billy) Gene Mahn, 80, of Crandon, WI, formerly of Merrill, WI, passed away peacefully at Aspirus Rhinelander Hospital. He had Chronic Heart Failure, among other health issues.
Billy was born in Sturgeon Bay, WI, son of the late Augie and Emma(Hulke) Mahn.
On September 19, 1964, he married the only true love of his life, Donna (Seis) Mahn. She preceded him in death on December 11, 2024. They had a union that lasted 60 years.
Billy was a great guy with a good sense of humor. He worked at Weinbrenner Shoe Company for years, and the Mitchell Metal Products until his retirement.
He loved riding his motorcycle, working on cars and traveling. He was known for his love of fun, and making people laugh.
Billy was preceded in death by his wife, Donna, his parents, his son, Shannon, and his sister, Shirley (Mike) Ziert of CA.
He is survived by one daughter, Larana (Mike) Broeren, one granddaughter, Sarah Broeren (Roy), and two great grandsons, Aiden and Bellamy.
Per Billy's request, there will be no services. Mid-Wisconsin Cremation Services is assisting the family at this difficult time.
The family wishes to thank his neighbor, Becca, for all her help, and the outstanding staff at Aspirus Rhinelander Hospital, for the excellent care they gave him in his last days.
