T.B. Scott Tower refurbished and placed

Merrill Parks & Recreation Department extends a sincere thank you to Ascension Wisconsin for their donation of the iconic T.B. Scott Tower. The tower is now refurbished and in its new permanent location at the end of South Park Street by the River Bend Trail Trailhead. From here, people can see the historic tower up close and also view the location where it stood atop the T.B. Scott Mansion since the early 1880’s. Thanks also to Park City Credit Union for collecting and matching donations for the landscaping and fencing around the structure and to In the Lite Electric for donating wiring and lighting (all coming soon). And thanks to Findorff Construction and Wisconsin Paint Company Professionals for their work on the project.
